The true leader of HPC ministry is the Lord Jesus Christ. The only Savior of the world who died on the cross of Calvary for our sins. Senior Pastor Richard Kumi was called at the young age of 17, by the grace and strength of the Lord he has been in ministry more than 20 years. Pastor Kumi graduated from Exploit School of Evangelism and Missionary studies. After completion of his studies he joined Apostolic Faith Mission Int. under the leadership of Apostle Dr. DeGraft Osei Kwame who has established about 70 churches worldwide.

Kumi worked about five years with Apostle Kwame as an evangelist planting churches. In 2001 he was ordained reverend minister in Accra Ghana West Africa. In 2003 by the Lords grace and favor he was given the opportunity to travel to the United States of America. By the Lord direction he joined Rev. Kwaku Adu-Wusu who together established A-Life Baptist church where he served as an associate pastor for 12 years, before the Lord called him to start Heavenly Place Chapel International.

We celebrated our 1^st year anniversary May 7, 2018 and we look forward with expectancy to years ahead. H.P.C believe the in Virgin birth of Christ, the crucifixion and the resurrection of the soon coming Savior. At HPC we believe a sinner can only obtain his/her salvation through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Rev. Kumi believes the main purpose for the church of God is to save lost souls.
